Our Work
For Members
The Case for Collaboration
Collaboration is at the core of how PSFC supports members to be more effective philanthropists in the psychedelic field. By working alongside a group of peers, members can achieve greater impact on the field than they could on their own. At a minimum, collaboration accelerates learning and reduces duplication of effort. At its best, collaboration takes the form of co-creation, where members pursue specific goals alongside committed and like-minded partners. This approach allows them to leverage their resources and time more strategically, multiplying their impact. The trusted relationships and community that members have built within PSFC are the foundation of our collective impact and enable us to move toward our vision with greater speed, wisdom, and reach.
What Membership Means
Together, members of PSFC form a community of philanthropists dedicated to building the psychedelic field in a safe, ethical and thoughtful manner. PSFC supports members – individually and as a community – in three main ways:
Connect
We connect like-minded philanthropists to foster meaningful relationships, catalyze collaboration, and deepen a shared commitment to the psychedelic field.
We connect like-minded funders through regular in-person and virtual events, an active email listserv, and curated introductions to other members and leaders in the psychedelic field. The opportunity to be in community with like-minded philanthropists is, for many members, a source of creativity, growth, collaboration, and friendship.
Learn
We help members learn about and engage deeply with a range of multidisciplinary and cutting-edge issues in the psychedelic field.
PSFC members share a deep curiosity and capacity to learn about the psychedelic field, which is continually evolving and pushing against new frontiers. We help members stay abreast of key developments in the field through a quarterly newsletter and in-depth analysis on specific, timely topics through a series of issue briefs and pulse calls throughout the year.
Strengthen
We provide direct expert support to members to increase the impact of the time, expertise, and funding they contribute to the psychedelic field.
PSFC staff are a direct resource for members who need specific subject matter expertise or skills to amplify their work. Our team maintains a current, deep understanding of the psychedelic field and brings expertise that spans scientific research, the U.S. healthcare system, organizational growth and management, and more. We leverage this expertise to support members with discovery and learning on specific topics of interest, due diligence on funding requests, and hands-on support to active initiatives and grantees.
